Welcome to Artisan Social Football Club

Artisan Social FC is a youth football (i.e., soccer) club based in Garden City, NY. We provide instruction, training, and competition in football.

We take a very different approach to training footballers than nearly every other club: We are hyper-focused on the technical development of our players and helping them develop an intuitive understanding of the game.

We conduct two programs:

• Kickstart Kids is our introductory program for children from 2–4 years old.

• The Artisan Academy begins at the U5 age group and comprises three successive stages:

• U5–U7 is our Streetbol Academy

• U8–U10 is our Futsal Academy

• U11 and older is our Football Academy

Artisan Social does not participate in any established leaguesins at 2 years old. Children from yearparticipate in our Kickstart Kids program

Kickstart Kids

Kickstart Kids is our program for children age 2-4 years old. 7 years old. It serves as an introduction to soccer, and for many children, their first experience with organized group activity. The main focus of Kickstart Kids is to be fun, welcoming, and educational. We also hope to provide a solid foundation in soccer for children who become interested in joining our Streetbol Academy at age 6 or 7.

Artisan Academy

Children 6-7 years old they graduate from Kickstart Kids and can join the Streetbol Academy.

Players in the U9–U12 age groups who also play for other soccer clubs can still join the Streetbol Academy.

The academy focuses on improving soccer skills and establishing a solid understanding of team play through playing streetbol, the 4v4 game played without goalkeepers. We believe that streetbol is a more fun and much more valuable version of soccer to play prior to one’s teenage years.

Streetbol Academy: ages 7-12

Children 6-7 years old they graduate from Kickstart Kids and can join the Streetbol Academy.

Players in the U9–U12 age groups who also play for other soccer clubs can still join the Streetbol Academy.
